Description

Glenfiddich Millennium Vintage 2012 is a limited edition single malt whisky laid down at the Glenfiddich Distillery during the Millennium celebrations in 2000. It was bottled in 2012 from casks personally hand-selected by Brian Kinsman, the Glenfiddich Malt Master. This 12-year-old expression matured in European and American oak casks before receiving a final finish in ex-Bourbon barrels for two months. It was released exclusively for the Travel Retail market, making it a scarce and highly collectible item.

Palate
Initially sweet, drying to dominant dried fruit flavors, with a waxy layer, vanilla, caramel, spices, and a hint of floral notes. Also characteristic sweet, fruity notes developing into butterscotch, cream, malt, subtle oak, apples, pears, citrus, honey, and baking spices.
Finish
Medium length, similar to the palate, with nutty flavors, honey, apple, and delicate spice lingering gracefully, leaving the mouth clean. Smooth and mellow.
