Description

A malt distillery in Speyside that distilled its first spirit on Christmas day in 1887 and has remained family-owned by William Grant & Sons ever since. The company was the first to make a single malt brand its flagship product and Glenfiddich was also the first distillery to open to the public.

Nose
Opulent sherry-draped aromas: fig and raisin mingle with orange zest and vanilla, while toasted almond and brown sugar add warmth. Subtle cocoa, cinnamon and clove emerge, carried on ripe malt and oak, finishing with a velvety, inviting depth.
Palate
Silky and full-bodied, the palate opens with dark fruit—prune, fig and raisin—kissed by orange zest. Sherry sweetness weds toasted oak with cocoa and almond, while cinnamon and clove linger. Velvet texture, balanced by gentle tannins and a warm, chocolatey finish.
Finish
A long, sherry-kissed finish with dark fruit, plum and fig, braided with toasted almond and cocoa. Subtle spice threads through the oak, leaving a warm, honeyed sweetness that lingers softly, then fades to a refined, drying tingle of tannin and spice.
