Description

Glenfiddich 21 Years Old Reserva Rum Cask Finish Batch 50 is a rich, sweet and exotic Speyside single malt. It patiently matured for 21 years at the Glenfiddich distillery, before Malt Master Brian Kinsman hand selected barrels to add a sublime finishing touch. The whisky has been finished in Caribbean Reserva rum casks to add sharp ginger, sultry fig and uplifting lime notes that build to a crescendo of sweet toffee and spicy exotic warmth.

Palate
Sweet and rich with a thick mouthfeel, soft spice, orchard fruit, caramel, brisk, vibrant, drying, peppery, a touch of smoke, oak, lime, ginger, molasses, and tropical fruit layers.
Finish
Very long, warming, dry and spicy, with notes of apples, pears, dark chocolate, oak, baking spices, brown sugar, banana bread, almonds, and orange flowers.
