Description

This is an older bottling of Glenfiddich 30-year-old in a crystal decanter, presented with a replacement stopper made from hallmarked solid silver in the shape of a stag's head. Glenfiddich is a malt distillery in Speyside that distilled its first spirit on Christmas day in 1887 and has remained family-owned by William Grant & Sons ever since. This limited release is presented in an Edinburgh Crystal decanter and is perfect for collectors and whisky lovers who appreciate fine spirits and stunning design.

Finely balanced with rich aromas of dried fruits, honey, floral notes, oak, spice, malty hints, stewed apples, sweet cigar tobacco, and a hint of ginger candy.
Palate
Complex and seductively woody, with an initial rush of peat and wood smoke, followed by gentle sweetness, hints of spice, dark chocolate, ripe figs, warm spices, creamy mouthfeel, spiced honey, sweet tobacco, and pleasant oakiness.
Finish
Exceedingly long, honeyed and warm, with medium length and spicy notes, echoes of sweet vanilla, ginger spiciness fading into sweet tobacco and lingering oakiness.
