Description

The Glenglassaugh Pedro Ximenez Finish is a Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky released in November 2017 as part of the distillery's first Wood Finish Collection. This no-age-statement expression was initially matured in ex-bourbon casks before undergoing a finishing period of up to two years in Pedro Ximenez sherry casks. The Glenglassaugh distillery, established in 1875, was mothballed in 1986 and reopened in 2008, with a renewed focus on high-quality single malt production. This whisky is bottled at 46% ABV, is non-chill filtered, and has natural color.
