The Glenglassaugh 1978 38 Year Old Rare Cask #2343 is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Glenglassaugh distillery, located in the Highlands of Scotland. Distilled in October 1978, before the distillery's mothballing in 1986, this whisky was matured for 38 years and then finished in a Pedro Ximénez Sherry puncheon. It was bottled in November 2016 as part of the Rare Cask Release Batch 3, with Master Distiller Billy Walker hand-selecting the cask. This limited release yielded 722 bottles and is bottled without chill filtration.
