Description

The Glenglassaugh distillery has had a turbulent history since being founded by James Moir in 1873; opening and closing no less than 7 times in 125 years. Always popular with blenders, single malt releases were limited for most of its very irregular working life. Currently owned by the BenRiach Distillery Company, which purchased the distillery in 2013, the distillery's focus is now firmly on the ... Part of the Rare Cask Release series from the Highland distillery, this single cask expression is limited to just 213 bottles. Distilled on 27th May 1967 and matured in a refill hogshead for 49 years before bottling in November 2016.
