Glenglassaugh Sandend is a vibrant and coastal-inspired Highland single malt Scotch whisky, crafted at the Glenglassaugh Distillery. Named after the picturesque Sandend Bay, whose crescent shoreline lies just moments from the distillery, this expression captures the essence of its seaside location. It is matured in a combination of bourbon, sherry, and Manzanilla casks, carefully chosen to accentuate intense tropical fruit sweetness, creamy vanilla, and a subtle maritime influence. Bottled at 50.5% ABV, it is part of Glenglassaugh's refreshed core range, launched in 2023.
