Description
Distilled at the Glenglassaugh distillery in February 1973, then matured for 39 years, including a finishing period in Muscat, before being bottled in July 2012. 308 bottles were produced, all at cask strength (44.1% ABV). The Massandra winery, built between 1894 and 1897 near Yalta, benefits from a subtropical climate and protective mountain chains, providing ideal conditions for producing high-quality fortified and dessert wines. The Muscat previously held within the finishing casks were white & rose.
