An invitingly sweet opening with ripe lemon and fresh grapefruit, malty with sweet barley, straw, sugared cereals, orange peel, cassis, cinnamon apples, roasted nuts, butter, chocolate, and light floral notes.
Palate
Full-bodied and almost oily, with sweet citrus notes, vanilla custard, fudge, stewed apples, oak shavings, cloves, black pepper, toffee popcorn, salted butter, ground walnuts, allspice, lemon rinds, baked apple, cinnamon, and tropical fruit.
Finish
More of the above, medium in length, with fading red apple skin, toasted nuts, cocoa powder, gentle spice, lingering oak, caramel, toasted almonds, and a pleasant dry finish.
