Description
Sitting on the Highland/Lowland border, Glengoyne distills its whisky in the Highlands and matures it in the Lowlands. Founded in 1833, the distillery is now owned by Ian MacLeod distillers, which champions its slow distillation process and a complete lack of peat, as well as a rigorous approach to its sherry cask selection. This Glengoyne 2004 Single Cask #3594 is a 19 Year Old Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky, bottled exclusively for The Whisky Shop. It was aged in a single first-fill American oak bourbon barrel and is presented at a cask strength of 54.6% abv, free from chill filtration. Only 111 bottles were produced.
