Description

A Diageo malt distillery located in the Lowland region of Scotland. Despite quietly producing fillings for blended Scotch for the majority of its history, it emerged as a single malt brand in 1988 when United Distillers assigned it as one the six Classic Malts of Scotland. This special release, part of the Distillers Edition series, undergoes a second maturation in Amontillado-sherry seasoned casks, adding a richer dimension to Glenkinchie's gentle Lowland style.
