Nose
Blast off with oloroso sherry. Nutty. Very grape oriented note and slightly astringent. Dried apricots, dates, rich amber honey. Fruity-solventy. Woody and spicy with the spice even dipping into the floral realm. Clove and then orange zest/peel hits. Dry, but big, bold and juicy on fruit notes.
Palate
Honey matches right up, gentle and light on the palate yet full bodied. Floral. Orange. Kick of spice. Dry.
Finish
Vanilla, hazelnut/nutty, sherry is at the beginning middle and end. The dryness is also sticky with boisterous grapey notes closing out the party. Short-Medium finish here.
