Description

The Glenlivet 17 Year Old Single Cask #4014, known as the 'Josie' edition, is an extraordinary single malt Scotch whisky. It was distilled in 1994 and bottled in 2011 at a natural cask strength of 57.5% ABV. This exclusive expression, drawn from a single First Fill Sherry Butt, is part of the distillery's original Alphabetical series of single casks and yielded 464 bottles. Josie is named after Glenlivet's underground spring, from which the distillery draws its water. The cask was selected by Master Distiller Alan Winchester and bottled without chill filtration, offering an unfiltered glimpse into The Glenlivet's time-honored craftsmanship.
