Description

The second release in The Glenlivet's Eternal Collection is a 56-year-old single malt presented in an extraordinary bespoke sculpture by British-Swedish art and design practice Fredrikson Stallard. The sculpture depicts the scorched, raw heather branches before their abundant regeneration; they rise from an ancient rock drawn from the Speyside land itself to symbolise strength, perseverance and authenticity. The whisky was matured in an American oak barrel and finished for over three years in a bespoke sherry butt, seasoned with a unique blend of Oloroso, Pedro Ximénez, and Palo Cortado.
