Description

This is a limited edition 18-year-old single malt Scotch whisky from Glenmorangie, created in collaboration with Japanese floral artist Azuma Makoto. The design, featuring his 'Dancing Flowers of Glenmorangie' artwork, was inspired by the whisky's rich and fragrant floral notes. The whisky is matured for 15 years in ex-bourbon casks and then finished for three years in Oloroso sherry casks.

Nose
Rich, rounded and sweet with dried fruits and complex floral notes such as geranium, jasmine, narcissus, honeysuckle, ginger, orange zest, and rose petals.
Palate
A silky balance of honey, malt, and a host of flowers including tuberose, sweet pea, and honeysuckle. Rich figs and dates emerge with a hint of wood smoke in the background. Also notes of chocolate, nuts, ginger green tea, almond, and dried orange.
Finish
Long and enticing with the sweetness of dried fruit and subtle dryness of Oloroso nuttiness. Lingering notes of almond and rosemary.
