Description

A rare vintage 1975 30 year old Glenmorangie Malaga Cask Finish Highland Single Malt Scotch whisky, matured for 25 years in selected bourbon casks and then finished for a further 5 years in former Spanish Malaga Liqueur Wine Casks. It was bottled in 2005 as a limited edition of 2,597 individually numbered bottles.

Citric, alcoholic, a bit of a wine smell. Very rich and flavoursome nose.
Palate
Woody and oaky, dark chocolate and cacao notes are present with a whiff of coffee and a drizzle of toffee.
Finish
Long lasting and beautiful. Deep, rich and strong. The after-notes seem to just go on forever!
