Description

Glenmorangie Burgundy Wood Finish is a single malt Scotch whisky that was introduced in 2002 as part of Glenmorangie's innovative wood finish program and was discontinued in 2007. This special edition was initially aged in American oak barrels before being finished in Burgundy wine casks from the Côte d'Or, adding unique depth and complexity to its flavor profile. It was first introduced in travel retail in 2003.

Palate
Rich and vibrant, with notes of blackcurrant, orange, plum, and other dark dried fruits. Sweet and malty, with vanilla, toasted oak, warm spice, white pepper, and a light nuttiness.
Finish
Long and elegant, with lingering fruit and wine tannins, black fruits, oak, baking spices (nutmeg, clove, cinnamon), and a soft, malty character.
