Description

A Highland single malt whisky, the Glenmorangie Extremely Rare 18 Year Old is a rare creation that blends aromas of dried fruits and complex floral fragrances. It is matured for 15 years in ex-bourbon casks, with approximately 30% then transferred to Oloroso sherry casks for a further three years before being blended back together. This particular release features a limited edition design by renowned Japanese floral artist Azuma Makoto, inspired by the whisky's floral notes and presented in a vibrant, artistic packaging.

Rich, rounded and sweet with dried fruit and complex floral notes such as geranium, jasmine, narcissus, honeysuckle, ginger, orange zest, and rose petals.
Palate
A silky balance of honey, malt, and a host of flowers including tuberose, sweet pea, and honeysuckle. Rich figs and dates emerge with a hint of wood smoke, alongside notes of nectarines in yoghurt, acacia honey, peaches in cream, butterscotch, almond, and dried orange.
Finish
Long and enticing with the sweetness of dried fruit and subtle dryness of Oloroso nuttiness, with lingering notes of almond and rosemary.
