Rich and clearly described, though the dried fruit and sherry sweetness lean away from freshness.
The dried fruit and caramelised orange give this a clear fruit side, with honey and nutty sherry sweetness adding depth. The long, gently dry finish sounds less soft than the palate, while chocolatey malt and sherry spice keep it balanced.
The contrast between dried fruit and caramelised orange, then a gently dry finish with chocolatey malt and sherry spice, gives this a pleasing shape. I’m drawn to that move from rounded sweetness toward a drier, spiced close; it feels more engaging than a profile built on sweetness alone. The creamy vanilla and crème brûlée on the nose add an inviting, dessert-like note without taking over the whole impression.
Rich and creamy, with dried fruit and sherry sweetness.
