Description

A Highland malt distillery located near Tain along the Dornoch Firth. It was founded in 1843 and is today owned along with Ardbeg by the French multination, LVMH. The distillery's primary focus is its single malt brand, renowned for being produced using Scotland's tallest pot stills. This 12-year-old Madeira finish was initially matured in American oak casks before being racked into selected Madeira 'drums' for extra aging in the final period of its maturation, adding complementary characteristics to Glenmorangie's fine flavor without smothering it.
