Description

A Highland malt distillery located near Tain along the Dornoch Firth, Glenmorangie was founded in 1843 and is today owned by LVMH. The distillery is renowned for its single malt brand, produced using Scotland's tallest pot stills. The Glenmorangie 25 Years Old, also known as 'The Quarter Century', is a refined and luxurious single malt Scotch whisky, aged for a quarter of a century. It is known for its smoothness, complexity, and deep flavor profile, with notes of rich fruits, honey, and oak, balanced with a subtle spice. It is matured in a combination of American white oak ex-bourbon, Oloroso sherry, and French Burgundy casks.

Palate
Smooth and creamy with a syrupy feel, featuring fruitcake, tropical fruit, blackberry compote, dense blackberries and damsons, jam-like sweetness, cinnamon, oak, pepper, dark chocolate, coffee, currants, and a waxy note.

Long and lingering with layers of fruitiness, gentle spices, oak, woody notes, vanilla, honey, orange zest, blackberry compote tanginess, clove, ginger, and a touch of wood shavings.
