Description

A whisky born of stone, Artein is Gaelic for stone as the whisky represents the rocky terroir of its provenance. Glenmorangie Artein was released as the 3rd Private Edition in 2012, finished in Super-Tuscan wine casks. It is composed of two parts 15-year-old whisky and one part 21-year-old whisky.

Viscous, mouth-coating, intense dark fruits, spice, aniseed, cloves, blackcurrant cough medicine, baked stone fruits, spearmint, cherries in milk chocolate, creamy, malty, sweet with Campari, parma violets, apple wood, cedar, rich honey, stewed fruits, apple and rhubarb crumble with vanilla spice and molasses.
