Description

Distilled in 2009, this 16-year-old single malt from Glenrothes spent its maturation in a single oloroso sherry butt. It was bottled at cask strength in September 2025 by Master of Malt as part of their Single Cask series and released as a Black Friday Edition. Only 630 bottles were produced for this release.

Palate
Robust malt and drying oak lead, giving way to molasses and patisserie sweetness in time. Chewy toffee, creamy caramel, and buttery fudge, with choc chip muffins, maple, and strawberry laces.
Finish
Berries and spiced apple loaf join for the finish, with lingering notes of tannic, grippy oak, chocolatey malt, and icing sugar.
