Nose
A great mix of metal (aluminium pan) and fruits like oranges and tangerines, with a little peat in the background. Hints of ham, apples, kiwi, apple compote, and olive oil. Also notes of bananas, sage, chervil, wax, and cinchona. Some chocolate orange, cake notes, ginger, golden syrup, and a pleasant wood note, with a faint creosote.
Palate
Fantastic and complex attack with crystallised oranges, pepper, orange honey, fruity olive oil, sweet pepper, and mint syrup. Creamy with fig, prune, and slightly unripe plum, followed by a nice spice that mixes beautifully with sherry. Fudge notes and a pepper kick.
Finish
Remaining spicy and long-lasting.
