Description

A large malt distillery located on the outskirts of Keith in Speyside. The distillery has operated in service for blenders for its entire existence and was built by James Buchanan & Co and W.P. Lowrie in 1898. Today is provides fillings for Ballantine's as part of the Chivas Brothers group. This particular bottling from Gordon & MacPhail was distilled in 1979 and bottled in 1998 to commemorate 100 years of production at Glentauchers distillery.
