Description

Crafted at Scotland's Oldest Working Distillery since 1763 entirely by hand in exclusive small batches, The Glenturret single malt is defined by its outstanding quality and exquisite taste. Located in the 'Hosh', Crieff, the distillery is surrounded by the beautiful Perthshire countryside. In March 2019, the Glenturret Distillery was purchased by a joint venture led by The Lalique Group. This tremendous 10 year old single malt from The Glenturret combines a delicate balance of the distillery's peated and unpeated spirit. Matured in first and second fill European and American oak casks, it's robust and complex, and bottled up accordingly at a bold 50% ABV. Released as part of The Glenturret's 2021 collection.

Nose
Intensely savoury: black bean, coffee, miso and smoked beef jerky. Beneath, red apple and manuka honey. Candied ginger and nutmeg. Physalis and flan base.
Palate
Medium bodied. Smoked fruits (red apple, pear) with rice wine and quince. A pleasant cashew note emerges slowly. More of that beef jerky, too.
Finish
Medium-long. Ashy, then the red apple becomes assertive.
