Description

A Highland single malt whisky from Glenturret, one of Scotland's oldest distilleries, founded in 1763. This expression was distilled in 1966 and matured for 27 years before being bottled in 1993 at a natural cask strength of 45.7% ABV. Glenturret's modern history began in 1959 when it was saved from closure by James Fairlie. The distillery is known for its traditional whisky-making methods.

Wonderfully complex with sweet, tropical fruity notes such as well as toffee apples combining milk chocolate & caramel along with toffee popcorn & even some orange peel. Slightly woody notes including sandalwood.
Palate
This Glenturret remains sweet with some gentle spices and toffee notes. Caramel and notes carry across from the nose to the palate and combine with a vanilla sweetness.
Finish
Medium to long, with caramel and ginger spice lingering.
