Description

This 2023-release is part of Glenturret's Extremely Scarce range and is a combination of six casks, matured for a quarter century. Its use of both European and American oak casks imparts aromas of candied ginger, sultana and baked pastry. Only 210 bottles have been released globally. It retains its natural color and is non-chill-filtered.

Aromatic cinnamon with ginger, sultana, raisin, and apple. Demerara sugar sprinkled on freshly baked pastry. Subtle notes of sweet vanilla. Aged oak adds time.
Palate
Reminiscent of a bygone era, oak leads on the palate. Citrus and boiled sweets follow then dark fruits return. Sweet vanilla, rich fruit, aromatic spices, mature oak and citrus. Layers of dark chocolate, spiced orange, creamy toffee, and subtle hints of roasted coffee.
Finish
A velvety texture with a warming finish of wood spices.
