Description

A limited edition 15-year-old Glenturret single malt, bottled to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Scottish folk band Breabach. This whisky was drawn from just four casks, a combination of American and European oak, with only 1,000 bottles released. Each bottle is individually numbered and presented in a bespoke box. The Glenturret Distillery, located in Perthshire, Scotland, traces its recorded history to 1763 and is known for its artisanal approach to whisky production. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9]

Nose
Lemon curd and toasty oak, with freshly brewed black tea, touches of sharp berries and honeycomb. Soft citrus fruits with a lemon zest, sandalwood, jasmine, freshly cut oak sawdust, redcurrant, and toffee caramel ending.
Palate
Sweet and spicy, with buttery caramel leading into warming oak, with touches of plum and brown sugar. Sweet with a wood pepper palate, red fruits, and marshmallows.
Finish
Cedar lingers alongside fresh blueberry. Soft and meandering. [1, 2, 4, 7, 13]
