Description

A Highland malt distillery and one of the oldest in Scotland, founded in 1763. Its modern history begins in 1959 when saved from closure by James Fairlie, and it is today owned by Glenturret Holding, a joint venture between the Lalique Group and Swiss businessman, Hansjörg Wyss. Palate
Deep mouthfeel with plenty of maritime notes, old rope, lobster boxes, rockpools and some more citrus notes, verging towards grapefruit.
Finish
Lasting peat and wood smoke with a touch of herbaceousness.
