Distilled in 1990 and matured for 35 years in a refill hogshead, this Highland single malt was bottled at a cask strength of 41.5% ABV. A delicate, old-style whisky that has retained freshness and structure, with just 231 bottles available. Non-chill filtered and natural in colour, it is old school Glenturret at its most characterful, delivering soft, generous waxiness alongside pronounced mineral qualities, with luscious white and yellow fruit notes throughout. A rare survivor, and well worth seeking out.
