Description

The 13th cask that The Scotch Malt Whisky Society bottled from Glenugie. The distillery closed in 1983 and in fact no official bottlings were ever released, making it very rare and much sought after. The title of this one is "Exotic scenes in a Bedouin tent" and just 98 bottles came out of the ex-bourbon hogshead after 31 years of maturation.

pineapple, banana, peach and sherbet straws with a Tuscan farmyard in July providing later depth.
Palate
juicy, perfumed pineapple, salt, ash, honey and tobacco. Also tropical papaya and mango but a drier, woodier mouth-feel.
