Description
A brand of Japanese whisky produced by Toa Shuzo Co., first introduced in the 1970s. It was originally bottled using imported bulk whisky from Scotland before being reinvented as a vehicle for Hanyu single malt in 2000. Subsequently discontinued, it was revived as a blend again in 2016. Toa Shuzo, established in 1625, is a Japanese sake, shochu, and whisky producer. This blended whisky is based on Scottish blended whisky aged for over 3 years, combined with Scottish malt and aged in oak barrels. It is primarily allocated to the Japanese market.
