Description

Company founder William Grant first began to sell blended whisky in 1898, a dozen years after the Grant family had established Glenfiddich distillery in the village of Dufftown. [cite: Scotch Whisky Auctions] Grant's Family Reserve is a blended Scotch whisky, a skilful blend of around 25 different whiskies from the finest single malts and grain Scotch whiskies, with a core of grain whisky from the Girvan distillery. It is aged in oak casks.

Custard apples and toffee on the palate, with hints of grist, honeycomb and beeswax. All rather floral too.
