Description
Originally founded by John W McCulloch in 1885, Green River was Kentucky's tenth oldest distillery. A mysterious fire and the onset of Prohibition led to its decline and closure. Green River was later revived in 2022 with their original DSP-KY-10 designation. This expression is a wheated Bourbon bottled at 45% ABV. It is crafted on the historic Green River campus in Owensboro, Kentucky, using a mashbill of 70% corn, 21% wheat, and 9% malted barley, and is aged between 4 to 6 years in new, charred American oak barrels.
