Nose
Smooth and light with hints of fresh grass and lemon. Delightful aroma. Quite big, ancient profile, deep cherry note, muted smoky note, and a level of sweetness.
Palate
Very mild and smooth with a faint hint of spice or pepper from the malt. Firm, powerful. A well-balanced attack gives equal footing to aromas of peat, smoke, spices. Smooth, nice little tingle on the tongue, very muted spices like Christmas fruit spices, booze soaked into cherries, raisins, and orange peel.
Finish
Spice fading to faint smokiness. Quite rich and lovely smooth texture.
