Cloves, apricot, prune, fresh green leaves, yuzu citrus, and a whisper of young pine smoke. Manuka honey, orange marmalade, juicy fruit gum, and a touch of new leather, with dark earthy notes, raisins, dates, and mulled wine.
Palate
Sweetly complex with Manuka honey, orange marmalade, and cacao. Notes of toasted sugar, molasses, prunes, wood oil, fresh green apples, crystalized ginger, and lemon honey, with light peat smoke, herbal tea, roasted chestnuts, and a bittersweet tang.
Finish
A well-balanced espresso-like bitter flavor that lingers pleasantly. Short to medium length with gentle minerality, notes of rose water, soft oak, and a touch of lingering malt funk, fading into smoky oak, mocha, and gentian root.
