Description

The Hakushu Distillery, the second malt distillery built by Suntory in Japan, opened in 1973. It was replaced by a new facility in 1981 and is known for its ability to produce a range of different spirit styles. The Hakushu single malt brand tends to showcase its peated production. This single malt whisky is crafted from the finest malted barley, sourced from the pristine waters of Japan's Southern Japanese Alps, and aged for 12 years in oak barrels.
