Nose
spicy and smoky with aromas of roasted wood, caramel, and a hint of spice - underpinned by fruity nuances and a light hint of vanilla. Also notes of grape marc, honey, nutty cereal, and warm wood smoke.
Palate
strong and full-bodied - malty sweetness meets subtle smoky notes, cinnamon, and dried fruits - the complexity is revealed in balanced wood and spice notes. Sweet and syrupy with flavors of raisins, ginger spice, dried stone fruit, and sweetened tea.
Finish
long and warm with lingering smoke and a fine spiciness - slightly sweet aftertaste rounds it off. A dry finish with hints of salt and oak tannins.
