Description

The Hearach of Château Biac is a highly limited bottling of Outer Hebridean single malt whisky from the Isle of Harris Distillery. It is fully matured in rare ex-sweet white wine casks, sourced exclusively from Château Biac in Bordeaux, France. These French Oak barrels, previously used for 'Secret de Château Biac' sweet white wine, are unique to the Isle of Harris Distillery and had never before been used to mature Scotch malt whisky. The spirit was filled into these casks in 2018 and 2019 and bottled in 2025. This collaboration celebrates the connection between the island and the Bordeaux estate, resulting in an intriguing, floral, and refined whisky.
