Description

This limited edition Hazelburn was distilled in 2007 and matured for 13 years in a combination of 75% ex-bourbon casks and 25% ex-sherry casks before being bottled in 2021. It is a triple-distilled, unpeated single malt from Springbank distillery, known for its creamy, delicate, and light style.

Nose
Deliciously smooth and creamy like lemon cheesecake with notes of vanilla, citrus and crushed digestive biscuits. Gentle aromas of vanilla cream, ripe pear, and lemon zest, with a background of toffee and soft almond pastry. Chocolate digestives, orange zest, honeydew melon, creamy vanilla, and a hint of anise.
Palate
Fruity; ripe peach and crisp, juicy red apples. Silky and well-balanced with notes of honeyed malt, creamy vanilla, and orchard fruits, lifted by hints of caramelised nuts, oak spice, and a touch of sherry richness. Sultana and malt loaf, honey and juicy peach notes, anise, and a touch of cut grass.
Finish
Delicate, grassy freshness with subtle hints of honey and glazed dates. Long, elegant, and slightly drying with lingering malted sweetness, subtle spice, and a whisper of dried fruit. Vanilla pod, softly toasted teacakes with butter, green apple.
