This Hazelburn is an unpeated, triple-distilled single malt from the Springbank distillery in Campbeltown, Scotland. Distilled in October 2003 and bottled in March 2017, it was matured for 13 years in a mix of fresh and refill Oloroso sherry casks. This limited edition release of 12,000 bottles is non-chill filtered and bottled at 47.1% ABV.

The dried fruit and strawberry jam give this a warm, inviting feel, while orange peel adds a brighter edge. There’s plenty of sherry character here, with a funky streak to keep it from feeling too sweet.
