Description

This is a well-sherried, unpeated and triple distilled single malt from Campbeltown's Springbank distillery, released under the Hazelburn name. It was distilled in 2004, aged completely in oloroso sherry casks for 14 years, and bottled in 2019, with an outturn of 9,900 bottles.

Fruit and nut chocolate, rich dark chocolate mocha, raisins and marzipan, berry coulis and caramelised walnuts.
Palate
A hint of leather, with jammy blackberry and milk chocolate praline, followed by freshly baked blueberry muffins, a pinch of pepper and pear drops.
Finish
Sherried fruits, salted caramel, liquorice, roasted coffee beans and waxy notes, as the pepper returns for a lengthy finish.
