Description

House of Hazelwood 18 Year Old is a blended Scotch whisky from William Grant & Sons, inspired by Janet Sheed Roberts and the Art Deco movement of the 1920s. It is made from Girvan single grain and Kininvie single malt, layered with malts from the Grant family's private reserves. It was introduced in 2016.

Lively enticing vanilla sweetness, gentle mature bourbony oak, crunchy cereal with honey topping, floral orange blossom, sweet green apple, walnut cream cake, subtle notes, solvent, lemon, light wood, maple syrup.
Palate
Soft silky smooth, creamy vanilla toffee, light Demerara sugar sweetness, coconut, creamy-textured, soft ulmo honey, thickening vanilla and toffee, sweet, spices (pepper, clove, liquorice), dark chocolate, old oak, honey, caramel, citrus, gentle oak, rich with oodles of vanilla, dried coconut and fruit.
Finish
Delicate oak spice, mild but lasting warmth, bitters, long and satisfying, warm spiciness, hint of smoke, hints of spice.
