Nose
Sweet scents of melted candy bar (nougat, caramel and chocolate) mingle with aged tannins like barrel char and antiqued oak. Vanilla galore pairs nicely with cinnamon coffee cake. A small amount of cedar wood.
Palate
Cinnamon, oak spice, fennel and allspice kick the spice level up a notch. Melted candy bar keeps things sweet with chocolate and nougat. A unique note close to rancio (nutty/cheesy/earthy effect).
Finish
Lingering flavors of smooth oak, vanilla and toffee. Cinnamon chips and a dash of pepper. Tannins with notes of leather, oak and cigar wrapper, but not as strong as other dusty bourbons.
