Description

Heaven's Door Double Barrel Whiskey is an award-winning collection of American whiskeys developed in partnership with Bob Dylan. It features Dylan's distinctive welded iron gates on the bottle. This expression is a blend of three different whiskeys (two Tennessee bourbons and a straight rye) that undergo a double barrel finishing process in hand-toasted new American oak barrels for secondary maturation, resulting in a complex and balanced whiskey.

Maple with milled grains and a light nuttiness. Dried berries, vanilla custard, and toasted oak.
Palate
Caramel, dough, dark cherry, Meyer lemon. Dry oak, vanilla bean, dried apricot. Coconut backed by orange oil and cocoa with woody overtones.
Finish
The finish focuses more on drier flavors compared to the sweeter ones found in the nose and palate, and opens with drier oak, leather, hints of peppercorn, and light vanilla. Drier leather and oak pull forward and linger, while flashes of peanuts dash in and out.
