Description

This was the second iteration of the Hibiki 17-year-old. It was released in this packaging very briefly between 2007 and 2010. A blend of over ten malts and grains, first released by Suntory in 1989. The recipe features whiskies from Yamazaki, Hakushu, and Chita, all aged in five types of cask. The bottle famously always has 24 facets representing the 24 seasons of the Japanese lunar calendar. The expression was discontinued in 2018 due to unprecedented demand and dwindling stocks.
