Hibiki 17 Year Old is a highly acclaimed Japanese blended whisky from Suntory, first launched in 1989 to commemorate the company's 90th anniversary. It is a harmonious blend of over 30 malt and grain whiskies from the Yamazaki, Hakushu, and Chita distilleries, aged for a minimum of 17 years. The maturation process involves a variety of casks, including American white oak, Sherry, and rare Japanese Mizunara oak. The signature 24-faceted decanter bottle represents the 24 seasons of the Japanese lunar calendar. This expression was officially discontinued in 2018 due to unprecedented global demand and stock shortages.
