Description
A blend of over ten malts and grains, first released by Suntory in 1989. The recipe features whiskies from Yamazaki, Hakushu, and Chita, all aged in five types of cask. The bottle famously always has 24 facets representing the 24 seasons of the Japanese lunar calendar. This specific release is a unique decanter shaped like a lyre guitar, part of Suntory's collection of musical instrument-themed decanters, which are highly collectible. Suntory is a historic Japanese whisky company, originally founded as Torii Shoten in 1899.
